Rivers & Robots website
The Rivers & Robots website was designed to be a hub for all the info on the band. A place to find out more info, listen to the songs, get tour dates, read blog posts or get in touch. Since moving from a solo project to a band, I decided it was time for a redesign and so I came up with this site which isn’t necessarily tied design-wise to any particular album but rather works on it’s own.
I designed the website to have a fluid, responsive layout and also built it using the CMS Statamic which means it’s much more streamlined and loads much quicker!
And here is first website that I used from 2011 onwards, which was designed to fit in with the style of The Great Light album art.
I also themed the bandcamp page to match the new album art, which has been a great platform for selling the music through!

It was actually a happy accident. I just replaced the image with a media query below a certain width, but because the header had a CSS transition on it for the hover state, it created that transition in the image change-over.
